First bay of the Yangtze River

The first bay of the Yangtze River is located in Shigu Town, Lijiang. Here, the rolling Yangtze River was blocked by the cliffs and turned into a “V” shaped big bend, which formed the famous Yangtze River First Bay. The surface of the river is as smooth as a mirror. The two sides of the river are the green hills, the neat farmland and the villages and towns in the south of the Yangtze River. It is amazing to have this view on the plateau.
