Chinese Liquor Culture City

Chinese Liquor Culture City was built between 1993 and 1997 with investment from Kweichow Moutai Group. It stands as one of the world’s largest liquor culture museums. Recognized as a “Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Artists Creation Base” by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles in 1998, it was designated a “National Industrial Tourism Demonstration Site” in 2000. In 2014, it earned the status of a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, and in 2017, it was officially approved as the Kweichow Moutai Liquor Museum. The site serves as a patriotic education base for Guizhou Province and Zunyi City, as well as a practical education base for primary and secondary school research activities. In 2021, it was honored as a “Guizhou Provincial Overseas Chinese International Cultural Exchange Base” by the Guizhou Returned Overseas Chinese Federation. By 2022, it ranked among Guizhou’s first “Top Ten Integrated Liquor-Tourism Attractions.” The year 2023 brought additional accolades, including recognition as a Guizhou Provincial Cultural-Tourism Integration Innovation Nomination Demonstration Project, a Zunyi City Education Practice Base for Strengthening the Sense of Chinese National Community, and a Renhuai City youth civilization honor. Covering an area of 30,000 square meters with a floor space of over 10,000 square meters, this comprehensive liquor exhibition hall integrates sculptures, calligraphy, paintings, inscribed plaques, stone carvings, cultural relics, and physical liquor collections. It features seven exhibition halls: the Chinese Liquor Origins Hall, Chinese Liquor Techniques Hall, Chinese Liquor Culture Hall, Chinese Liquor Customs Hall, Chinese Liquor Vessels Hall, Moutai Hall, and Moutai·World Famous Liquors Hall.
