Return To The Three Gorges Live-Action Performance

The performance of “Return to the Three Gorges” is located in the Nanmentuo waters on the right side of the Fengyu Gallery Bridge in Baidicheng Qutangxia Attraction. Zhang Yimou is the chief director and the performance began on December 15, 2018. It has become a “generation-changing and handed-down work” of large-scale poetry and cultural live performances. It won the “Five One Project” Award for the 15th Spiritual Civilization Construction of Chongqing; it was listed as a “Research and Creation Base” by 108 municipal and domestic and foreign universities such as the China Du Fu Research Institute, Southwest Jiaotong University, and Chongqing University, and was rated as one of the top 40 new cultural and tourism landmarks in the city.”Return to the Three Gorges” takes the natural landscape and historical culture of Baidi City, Qutang Gorge and Kuimen as the background, and takes Fengjie’s poetry culture, Three Kingdoms culture and Jiangxia culture as the main line and foundation. The performance content selects ten poems and ten chapters, and integrates the original ecological Yangtze River Three Gorges boat tracker’s calls, poetry recitation, singing and dancing performances, and light and shadow displays. It uses poetry to describe the scenery, poetry to please the mood, and poetry as the soul.
