Hongyan Village

Hongyan Village, formerly known as Hongyanzui, is located at No. 52, Hongyan Village, near Hualong Bridge, Yuzhong District, Chongqing City, and borders the Jialing River to the north. Hongyan Village is named because its geological composition is mainly Jurassic red shale. During the Anti-Japanese War, the Eighth Route Army’s Chongqing Office was set up in Hongyan Village, making outstanding contributions to the victory of China’s Anti-Japanese War.The main attractions of Hongyan Village include the Eighth Route Army Chongqing Office Building, the Hongyan Revolutionary Memorial Hall, and the Hongyan Village Eighth Route Army Chongqing Office.
