Ayihe Drifting

Ayi River, formerly known as Changxi River, originates from Fenshui Township, Wuchuan County, Guizhou Province, meanders northeastward into Pengshui County, Chongqing City, passes through Changqi Dam, Zhouzituo, Sanjiangkou, and flows into Wujiang River at Changxi Beach, Wanzu Township. Ayi River is located in Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County, Chongqing City. The Miao people call kind, beautiful and intelligent women “Jiao Ayi”, which is why Ayi River got its name. Ayi River Attraction integrates mountains, water, forests, springs and canyons, and is majestic, strange, dangerous, beautiful and secluded. The Attraction is divided into 3 sightseeing areas (Canyon Scenic Area, Walking Scenic Area, Bamboo Raft Scenic Area), and there are 8 major sightseeing projects: Listening to the Sounds in the Canyon, Singing on Bamboo Rafts, Playing in the Bitan, Flying Boats on the Waves, Love in the Miao Village, Qinglong Ladder, Qinglong Cave and Qinglong Valley, etc. You can hike through the river to see exotic flowers and plants, ancient vines and old trees; you can row a boat on the river to enjoy rapids and blue waves; you can stay overnight in the mountain village to taste Miao delicacies and experience ethnic customs. It is a good place for leisure sightseeing, folk experience, outdoor rock climbing and water sports.
