Cai Village

Cai Village is located in the northeastern side of Dali Ancient City, on the west bank of the Erhai Sea, and it is a quiet and beautiful village. The famous pier and lakeside wetlands here are popular with photography enthusiasts for their fresh and beautiful scenery. There are also many well-preserved ancient Bai Nationality buildings in the village, which reveal a rich ethnicity. Many tourists visiting Dali will also find Cai Village to visit this wetland park. During the festival, the villagers still maintain the traditional Bai Nationality customs, like dance dragons, and ceremonies.
