Chen Wanbao Manor

The manor was originally a quadrangle with a cross-courtyard on the left and two cross-courtyards on the right. Only the front yard, stage and west tower are historic sites, while the rest have been demolished and are awaiting reconstruction.Chen Wanbao Manor is not only a model of the combination of East Sichuan and Jiangnan architecture, but also a masterpiece of Qing Dynasty residences in Southwest China. The architectural structure, style, design and art in the manor are considered to be fine residences, with high historical value, artistic value and scientific research value. The Shilongjing in the manor is the symbol of Chen Wanbao’s main residence. Its architecture combines traditional carving and painting art, showing the essence of traditional Chinese architecture.
