The Qinghai-Tibet Sichuan-Tibet Highway Monument is located in the south of Lhasa City, by the Lhasa River. On December 25, 1984, it was built to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Qinghai-Tibet Highway and Sichuan-Tibet Highway, and to remember the glorious achievements and great sacrifices of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. The body of the monument is three-edged, and the inscriptions are written in both Chinese and Tibetan languages. If you are passing by, take a photo here, it is very memorable.
