Guanling Bingjiu

The Guanling Glacial Moulding is located in Anshun City. It is one of the largest and best preserved glacial mouldings discovered in China. The glacial mouldings here vary greatly in size, with the largest one reaching 15 meters in diameter and about 10 meters deep, and the smallest one being only the size of a button. They are round like a full moon, or shaped like a gourd, a peach heart, or a plum blossom, with a slightly smaller mouth at the top, larger in the middle and lower parts, and a flat or slightly concave bottom, which well illustrates the characteristics of the glacial mouldings of “small mouth, big belly, and flat bottom”. Under the sunlight, the glacial mouldings filled with blue-green water are like gems scattered in the river valley, and from a high altitude they look like the surface of an exotic planet. The Guanling Glacial Mouldings are not only an important site for studying ancient climate and geological evolution, but also a good place for hikers and geologists to explore the mysteries of nature. Its unique geological landscape and pristine natural environment provide tourists with a wonderful journey through time and space.
