Zhijin Shexiang Cave

Zhijin Shexiang Cave is a local cave attraction known for its distinctive karst topography. The interior is quite spacious and features a variety of underground karst formations, including stalactites, stalagmites, and stone curtains, which take on rich layers of depth under the lighting. Shaped by long-term groundwater erosion and deposition, the cave features diverse natural stone formations that clearly reflect the characteristics of the Guizhou Plateau’s karst topography. The “Shexiang” in the site’s name refers to Lady Shexiang, a historical and cultural figure from Guizhou, adding a touch of human history to the natural landscape. Compared to larger, more developed cave attractions, the overall environment here is relatively quiet, allowing visitors to more directly experience the natural atmosphere of the underground cave. The temperature inside the cave remains cool year-round, offering a refreshing escape even in summer, which attracts many visitors looking to beat the heat.
