Zhongshansi Road

Zhongshan 4th Road in Yuzhong District of Chongqing is a place where Chongqing’s Peidu culture and the remains of the war of resistance against foreign invadors are concentrated. There are many relics such as Guiyuan, Zhou’s Mansion, Dai’s Mansion, Zhang Xiang’s Mansion, and the former site of the National Government Presidential Palace. From 1937 to 1942, during five years of “indiscriminate bombing” of the Japanese invasion into China, this place functioned as the command center of the World Anti-Fascist League in China.
