Liangjiang International Film City (Minguo Street) is a special theme area featuring a mix of the history of Republican China and Sichuanese Bashu culture. The scenic area recreates many of Chongqing’s famous buildings and scenery from the Republican era. These include the Cathay Cinema, Xinhua Daily, Xinya Coffee, Palace Photo Gallery, and some museums, bars and shops with the characteristic style of old Chongqing. The film “Back to 1942” (directed by Feng Xiaogang with investment by the Chongqing Film Group) used the street as one of its major on-site locations for filming. All sorts of recreational and entertainment facilities are scattered here and there throughout the film city. You can even travel back in time and play dress-up in costumes just like the ones used in the movies and take a souvenir photo album home with you to preserve the memories.

Zhuanyunlou is located at No. 110, Ciqikou Main Street, a thousand-year-old town known as “Little Chongqing”. Its cultural history can be traced back to the Ming Dynasty. Today, tea tasting, opera watching and traditional leisure are still rich, and China is still beautiful and prosperous. Every day, Sichuan Opera, a Chinese intangible cultural heritage shared by Sichuan and Chongqing, is performed.Here, the inheritance of opera culture of the old teahouse in Ciqikou Ancient Town is being led. The opera interprets old Chongqing vividly and exquisitely with the actors’ recitation, pronunciation, intonation, crying, laughing, posture, movements and other high-level skills, as well as the authentic Chongqing dialect.

Changshou Ancient Town is located in Changshou District, Chongqing. There are many antique buildings in the town, such as Wenren Street, Wanshou Square, Kuixing Twin Towers, Wanshou Park, etc. You can feel the strong Bayu culture and Chinese longevity culture here. In the ancient town, you can experience the slow life of the small town, walk around, see the small bridges and flowing water, play with the fish, or drink tea with a few friends, chat, and talk about life, which is very leisurely. The rice noodles and fat sausage rice in the ancient town taste good, and interested tourists can try it.

Beiwenquan Scenic Area is located in Beibei District. Its predecessor was Wenquan Temple. It used to be a leisure place for dignitaries, but now everyone can visit it. There are pavilions, towers, ancient trees and bamboos in the Attraction. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery while soaking in the hot springs.Tourists can first visit the scenery in the Attraction. Behind the Jieying Hall is a square pool formed by the convergence of mountain springs. The railings of the stone bridge over the pool are engraved with patterns of unicorns, banana trees, flowers and birds, all of which are works from the Ming Dynasty. There is a Ming Dynasty Buddha statue in the Great Buddha Hall, where you can pray. It is very pleasant to go to the hot springs after the tour.In 1927, Lu Zuofu founded the Jialing River Hot Spring Park here, added hot spring swimming pools, bathrooms, restaurants and other tourist facilities, and later changed its name to Chongqing Beiwenquan Park.

Wushan Museum is a county-level comprehensive museum with a collection of more than 50,000 cultural relics. The exhibition is based on the nature, geography, and humanities of the Wushan area. It not only presents the regional cultural characteristics of Longgupo culture, Daxi culture, and Wu culture, but also reflects the fruitful results of the rescue and protection of Three Gorges cultural relics. It is an important cultural symbol of Chongqing’s eastern gate and a unique new cultural attraction in the Three Gorges Reservoir area.

Fengyan Three Kingdoms is a theme scenic spot in Chongqing, which provides a rich cultural and entertainment experience based on the history of the Three Kingdoms.
