Located at the foot of Tianzhu Mountain to the southwest of Ankang City, Yinghu Lake is a large freshwater artificial lake in the northwestern region formed upon completion of Ankang Hydroelectric Station. The lake is surrounded by hills with gentle slopes covered in dense vegetation. It is a great place to stay cool in summer. As it is wide and clean, a variety of activities, such as rowing boats, speedboating and fishing, are available. There are several restaurants in the scenic area where you can taste fresh fish, such as silverfish and mandarin fish from Yinghu Lake.

Zibai Mountain National Forest Park
Cypress Mountain National Forest Park is the branch range of Taibai Mountain, the main peak of Qinling Mountains. The West Peak
The West Peak is one of the main peaks of Huashan Mountain. It is named because of its location in the west. Because the stones resemble lotus petals covering the peaks, it is also known as the Lotus Peak. West Peak is a complete natural stone. Yongning Gate
The south gate of the Xi’an City Wall is Yongning Gate. It’s often referred to as South Gate. The gate was constructed during the early years of the Sui Dynasty. It is the city gate that has been around the oldest in Xi’an. It is the gate that is on the east side of the three gates of the imperial city for the Sui Dynasty. The Chinese people have the belief that the south is where you will find the god of fire. Thus the south gate, which is known as Yongning, is intended to be used to pray to god of fire.

Museum of the Mausoleum of the King of Qin of Tang Dynasty
The Museum of the Mausoleum of the King of Qin of Tang Dynasty is located in Beipo Park of Baoji City, in Shanxi Province. It is a themed museum showing the burial of the Qin King Li Maozhen and his wife Liu, whereby they are buried in different tombs but within the same mausoleum. It is about 1100 years old. The site consists of several parts, including the Mountain Gate, Divine Road, Shrine of Offering, and Shine of Prayer. There are dozens of stone carvings from the Tang Dynasty and ancient buildings constructed from carved blue brick replica of wood. It is a popular sightseeing spot attracting countless visitors.

Hong Shi Xia
Hong Shi Xia, located approx. 5 km north of Yulin city, is situated in the Yuxi river valley at the foot of Hongshan mountain near the Ming Great Wall pass. Locally known as “Xiong Shi Xia”, it derives its name from the red rocks covering the mountains. The canyon features stunning landscapes with peculiar rock formations, clear waters, and numerous ancient caves and temples.The cliffside inscriptions at Hong Shi Xia attraction are divided into eastern and western sections, mostly dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. While not extremely ancient, they include many famous calligraphic works. On the eastern cliff of Hong Shi Xia, there are over 80 inscriptions, predominantly carved during the Guangxu era of the Qing dynasty, with notable examples being Zuo Zongtang’s “Yu Xi scenic spot” and Ma Zhanshan’s “Return our rivers and mountains”. The western cliff features approx. 30 inscriptions, including some unique combinations of intaglio and relief carving techniques, along with a Mongolian inscription “Heaven-made majestic beauty” that’s worth seeing.The earliest relics in the Hong Shi Xia attraction are the temples and grottoes from the Song and Yuan dynasties, but now, apart from some painted murals and carvings in certain caves, the rest no longer exist. Among the existing grottoes, the fourth and sixth caves are still worth a visit. The carvings on the ceilings of the fourth and sixth caves are well-preserved, and the patterns in the sixth cave symbolize the unity of Mongol and Han cultures. If you visit the grottoes in summer, you’ll feel pleasantly cool. Visitors can also walk from here to the Tianmen gate at the cliff top and the Dimen gate leading to the waterside in the canyon.Hong Shi Xia served as a filming location for the movie “Ashes of time”. The attraction is best visited at dusk when the canyon takes on a poetic ambiance under the glow of sunset. Visitors can descend from the west cliff to the canyon floor where the Yuxi river flows, adding a touch of Jiangnan’s elegance to this northwestern frontier. During summer, you can enjoy playing in the water along the riverside beaches.

Shimen Plank Road Scenic Area
The Shimen (“stone gate”) Catwalk Scenic Area is about 15 kilometers north of Hanzhong City. The original Shimen Catwalk was inundated in 1969 so that reservoir repairs could be undertaken. Later, a recreation of the original ancient Shimen Catwalk was built and raised 70 meters above the original. The replica Shimen Catwalk is almost 3 kilometers long and built exactly like the original. The remains of an official travel stop, courier station, and loading station in the style of the Han era have even been restored. The scenic area has entrance gates on both the east and west sides of the Bao River. Most visitors enter from the western entrance.

Xi’an City Tour Bus
The “Xi’an City Sightseeing Bus” takes “Tang Culture” as its main axis and crosses the urban area of Xi’an roughly in the north-south direction. Tourists can wait to get on the bus at the sightseeing bus stop sign. The “sightseeing bus” will stop at each sightseeing site for 5 to 10 minutes during operation. Tourists can get on and off the bus at will according to their own itinerary for sightseeing experience, and can take the next “Xi’an City Sightseeing Bus” to continue to visit the following sightseeing sites.
