    Nangongshan National Forest Park is in the east of Langao County, Ankang City. It consists of Erlangping, Jinding, Huoshanshi, Gaoshanli and Lotus Fort.     Academy Gate Pedestrian Street

    Shuyuan Gate Pedestrian Street is a walkway free from vehicles and is infused with refined culture and learning. On the west side, Shuyuan Gate Pedestrian Street intersects with Xi’An City’s South Boulevard. The Stele Forest Museum is located 250 meters and three turns away from the east end of Shuyuanmen. The quaint cobblestones of the pedestrian street lead you down a path of history. Small shops line both sides of the road and sell calligraphy scrolls, painting, ink brushes, inksticks, calligraphy paper and ink stones. This artisan street is quite unlike other pedestrian shopping streets in China in that it is quiet and calm.

    Xiyue Temple

    Xiyue Temple, also known as Huayue Temple, is consecrated to emperors of the past and sacrificed to the Xiyue emperor Shao Hao, having been rebuilt multiple times throughout the Tang, Song, Ming and Qing dynasties. The main buildings of Xiyue Temple are distributed on the central axis in a north-south alignment. The outer city is a Ming Dynasty building with a turret. The mountain gate is a grand, imposing city wall of brick and stone. Because there are three doorways, commonly known as the Sanlian Gate, its shape and structure is very similar to Beijing’s Tiananmen. Within the grand hall there are original large wooden pillars that remain from the time of its initial construction. Suspended here are three horizontal inscribed plaques, proposed by Emperor Tongzhi, Emperor Guangxu and Empress Dowager Cixi.

  • Defu Lane

    Defu Lane

    Defu Alley is a famous bar street in Xi’an. Telford Lane was originally an old housing area, and gradually became a leisure and cultural street in the 1990s. There is a majestic Sanmen Stone Stele Square at the entrance of the alley. On both sides of the road paved with large bluestones, the antique buildings are scattered. The streets that are less than 200 meters long are filled with large and small coffee houses, bars and tea houses one after another, all of which have some sentimental names. Today, Defu Alley and the quaint Shuyuanmen Ancient Culture Street are photographed from east to west, echoing each other from afar, and have become a very “foreign” street in the traditional cultural area.

    Dayan Pagoda is a UNESCO World Heritage site located on the grounds of the Jianfu Temple. It is one of China’s famous Tang Dynasty cultural relics. The Dayan Pagoda North Square is comprised of a musical waterscape fountain, East Garden, West Garden, and cultural and tourism facilities. Tourists are most attracted to the plaza by the immense musical fountain. Throughout the course of the performance, the fountain’s jets change their shape in an elegant water dance. Once night falls, the lights of the show are especially enchanting. On either side of the plaza, visitors can see all sorts of sculptures reflecting the spirit of Buddhism and Shaanxi’s local customs and folk opera.
