Longji Mountain Scenic Spot
Longji Mountain is located at the border of Zangke Town and Zhongzhai Township. Its main peak is about 2000 meters above sea level, facing Laowang Mountain (about 2127 meters above sea level) across the Zangke River. These two mountains, like giants, straddle the vast river valley, guarding this land that was once the core area of the ancient Yelang Kingdom. What is truly amazing about Longji Mountain is the winding “Longji Sky Road.” This road, originally a village road, is named for its resemblance to a giant dragon winding along the mountain ridge. The entire road is paved with cement, and although it has many curves and gradients exceeding 45 degrees, it allows two-wheel-drive cars to pass smoothly. Driving on it, one sometimes winds around the mountain in S-curves, sometimes faces steep slopes, and when shrouded in mist, the road appears and disappears, like a long corridor in the clouds, making the driver feel as if they are in a fairyland. This is a typical pristine karst landscape scenic area, with towering peaks and strangely shaped rocks, some resembling lovers embracing, others like wolves protecting their cubs, displaying countless forms.

Anlong Pyramids
Anlong Natural Pyramids is a spectacular karst landscape in Guizhou, composed of over a dozen conical peaks, each 150 to 200 meters high. These peaks are characterized by their wide bases, sharp tops, and distinct angles. The rocks are layered in an orderly fashion, and the pyramids are named for their resemblance to the Egyptian pyramids. At sunset, the golden light bathes the mountains in a warm glow, enhancing their mystique and solemnity. These pyramid-like mountains are, in fact, masterpieces sculpted by nature over millions of years. The rocks here are dolomite formed approximately 200 million years ago, when most of Guizhou was still submerged. Minerals dissolved in the ocean slowly crystallized and deposited layer by layer. As the earth’s crust rose and the sea receded, water continued to erode the rocks along their fissures—the tops eroded faster than the bottoms. This simultaneous horizontal and vertical erosion created these breathtaking conical mountains.

Anshun Temple of Confucius
The Anshun Confucian Temple was first built in the Ming Dynasty. After several generations of repairs and expansions, it has become complete. It was built on the gentle slope of “Kongming Hill” and the buildings were symmetrically arranged along the central axis according to regulations. The system is complete, the layout is rigorous, and the craftsmanship is exquisite. It still retains the historical original appearance of the Ming and Qing Confucian Temples and is the most exquisite Confucian Temple in China. The Confucian Temple has four entrances. Except for the fourth entrance which was destroyed, the other three entrances are well preserved. Because it was built on the mountain, the four entrances are also gradually elevated. There is a half-moon-shaped pool in a courtyard at the main gate, called Panchi. In ancient times, all scholars had to cross the stone bridge, which was called “Youpan”. At the east and west ends of the courtyard, there are “Guixiang Pavilion” and “Zunjing Pavilion”, which are the places where the names are announced during sacrifices. The third entrance is a quadrangle. Two stone dragons seem to have fallen from the sky, with their bodies appearing and disappearing from time to time, and their heads echoing each other from a distance, lifelike. The stone lions on the column bases are male and female, the male lion has a ball on his feet, and the female lion is nursing a cub. Together with the other two stone dragon pillars outside the Dacheng Gate, they are known as the “Four Great Stone Sculpture Treasures of the Confucian Temple”. Anshun Confucian Temple is one of the earliest Confucian temples built in the ethnic minority areas of southwest China, and is a witness to the extension and development of Confucian culture from the Central Plains to the remote southwest regions of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
