This section of the cave is approx. 800m long, with a high dome inside. Stalactites, stone pillars, stalagmites, and stone curtains hang and stack from various positions, creating layered visual imagery resembling “dragon scales” and “dragon ridges” on the cave walls and ceiling. Entering the Dragon Palace is “primarily by boat, with walking as a supplement.” The cave is spacious and airy; visitors enter by boat and glide over the calm water. Looking up, you can see the towering dome and layers of hanging stalactites, while the surrounding lights and reflections on the water intertwine, making it feel like wandering through a mythical palace. Surrounded by echoes, the sound of dripping water, and alternating lights, visitors can see the karst cave, underground river, lights, and geological landscapes echoing each other, and also experience the unique sensory blend of confinement and openness characteristic of underground spaces.
