Diaoyu Castle is a miracle in the history of world warfare. The powerful Mongolian troop was hit hard under the Castle. In 1259, the Mongolian army attacked the Diaoyu Castle under the leadership of Khan Mengge. Due to the strong resistance of soldiers and civilians in Diaoyu Castle, Khan Mengge was severely wounded to death by artillery. After the death of Khan Mengge, Mongolian army had to battle for the throne, which leaves them with no extra power to attack Southern Song Dynasty and Europe. The success of Diaoyu Castle helped Southern Song Dynasty to continue its rule and also changed the world. Therefore, Diaoyu Castle is also known as the “place where the God broke his whip”. Diaoyu Castle has been well preserved so far and the gates and walls are the main landscapes.

Wujiang River is the largest river in Guizhou Province and a tributary of the upper right bank of the Yangtze River. It was called “Qianjiang River” in ancient times. It originates from Huayu Cave in Xianglu Mountain, Weining County, Guizhou Province, flows through northern Guizhou and Pengshui in Youyang, southeast Chongqing, and flows into the Yangtze River in Fuling, Chongqing.
